Itinerary ideas

1. DAY: Discovering the West of Ibiza - Cala Bassa, Cala Conta and the sunset at Es Vedrà

We will set sail from the port of San Antonio at around 10:00 h, heading for one of the most famous coves on the west coast: Cala Bassa. This cove stands out for its turquoise waters and fine sandy bottom, ideal for anchoring and enjoying a swim or paddle surfing. You can go ashore for a drink at the CBbC Beach Club, one of the most popular on the island.

At mid-morning we will head for Cala Conta (Platges de Comte), one of the most impressive for its crystal-clear waters and views of the islets. Here you can snorkel and swim among shoals of fish. The variety of coves in the area offers quiet spots even in high season.

After lunch on board or in one of the restaurants in the area such as Sunset Ashram, we will sail south to reach one of the most magical places in Ibiza: Es Vedrà. This imposing rocky islet is perfect for enjoying the sunset in a peaceful atmosphere, with the silhouette of the rock silhouetted against the sky.

We return to the port of San Antonio at around 20:00 h, after a full day of relaxation and spectacular scenery.

2. DAYS: Mediterranean Spirit - South Ibiza and Formentera wild

Day 1:

We set sail from Marina Ibiza towards the south coast. Our first stop will be Ses Salines, an iconic beach for its natural beauty and lively atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a swim in crystal-clear waters and have lunch on the beach, in places like Sa Trinxa or Jockey Club.

After lunch, we sail to Es Cavallet, another beach in the natural park with dunes and native vegetation. At sunset, we head for Espalmador, an unspoilt island between Ibiza and Formentera. We anchor here to spend the night under the stars, in total calm and surrounded by nature.

Day 2:

We wake up with a swim in the turquoise waters of Espalmador before heading to Playa de Illetes, in Formentera. We spend the morning on this paradisiacal beach, perfect for snorkelling or paddle surfing.

We have lunch at a restaurant on the sand, such as Juan y Andrea or Beso Beach. In the afternoon, you can optionally visit the port of La Savina or stop at Cala Saona, a small cove with calm waters and reddish cliffs. We return to Ibiza before sunset, with the silhouette of Dalt Vila greeting us.

3. DAYS: Complete route around Formentera - Relax, luxury and unspoilt beaches

Day 1:

We set sail from Marina Ibiza heading south. Our first stop will be Ses Salines, ideal for the first swim of the trip. We have lunch on board or at a beach club and then sail towards Espalmador, an unspoilt island where we spend the afternoon and the first night at anchor. The surroundings are quiet, with no buildings, ideal for a relaxed dinner under the stars.

Day 2:

In the morning we set course for Playa de Illetes, one of the most famous spots in the Mediterranean. Perfect for anchoring and spending the morning swimming, sunbathing or walking along the sandy beach. Lunch at Beso Beach or Juan and Andrea. In the afternoon, we explore Cala Saona, a cove of calm waters and reddish cliffs where we spend the night.

Day 3:

Day sailing to the east of Formentera. We stop at Es Caló de Sant Agustí, where you can get off to eat fresh fish. Then we sail north, with a last stop at Espalmador or Illetes, before returning to Ibiza in the afternoon. Three days of total disconnection amidst turquoise waters and unspoilt landscapes..

I had the opportunity to sail for a week on the Sun Odyssey 389 in the waters of the Mediterranean. It was a trip with friends and the experience could not have been better. We are already thinking of repeating the experience.
